This is way too relatable. My work week is so busy that the last thing I want to do in my spare time is date or socialize. It just adds to the exhaustion.

I definitely understand. If dating is still important to you, perhaps you can schedule those dates during the week as short lunches/coffees. This way, you get to meet the person and determine if there is chemistry that warrants a longer dinner date and, more importantly, it preserves your Friday alone time. I've taken this approach in the past and it was helpful for me. Good luck!
I agree with both of these! I try to do a quick video/phone call with them after several messages back and forth to get a better read for how they might be in person on a date. Personally I’m just a better judge of character away from texting/messaging so that’s what I prefer. I always give myself an excuse for why I can’t chat for long (15-20 mins tops) that I lead with and then see how the chemistry flows from there. Best of luck 💕
