My manager is pretty good about things like that, they tend to be hands on when it comes to tough situations. It usually works out fine, but there can be a downside. One person's hands-on leadership is another's micromanaging. That can sometimes be a complaint, but speaking for myself, I'd rather have everyone involved.
I see, thank you!
One thing I can confidently say about my manager is that when all hands are on deck, all hands including hers are on deck. She is very quick to get in the trenches and work alongside us. I think that is one of the reasons I have so much respect for her is because she is always right there.
My manager is all hands on deck too!
Managers are no longer leaders. They are just "towing the line" and are usually put in the positions for reasons other than what the have done, achieved, succeeded in, etc. That said, they have typically never been tested and or "done the job". Understand who they are, where they came fr first.
I see. Thank you for the feedback!
