Hi need referral for few job postings at MS.
Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.
I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.
The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.
Thoughts?

New dracena is not stoked, whats his deal?

Hi folks,
I've got an offer from Netcracker recently.
Based on the salary discussion, HR released the offer with 2Lakh less as promised and now telling me over and over again that they will revice it near the joining date and this is the process they follow for every candidate so that they don't go and shop in the market.Do you think I should trust them as they haven't given me anything in written but keeps on promising me over phone calls that closer to my joining date they will revise the offer.

Always manage your own career. If you were that busy and you forgot think about how busy it probably was for the MD. It’s fine, just bring it up at your next 1:1.
That’s a helpful counterpoint, VP1. Thanks !
You’re overthinking it. Just ask him.
I am!
Confront the truth and ask a simple question - to quote someone familiar.. “have I lost the opportunity”? Courage and timing on your behalf matter more than the MD’s willful or unintentional negligence.
Lol I knowwww. I guess I overthought that one.
Just ask him. Top of year he’s busy with board level input, annual planning, client planning and a ton of other things likely.
I’m only junior left on my team as my analyst went to another firm. I’m supporting 4 SVPs, and I’ve been absolutely pummeled to death doing cyclical all nighters, on them still to finish last project of my MBA. And my national guard side piece is absolute death with everything going on. I had a lunch with my division head which helped set guidance and expectations as I just was promoted and doing a two grade jump and to VP.
I talk with my MD this week.
Just be open and have a discussion. I was at wits end and wanted to pull my hair out, and then juggling working from home and a 2 year old defiantly in the terrible twos, I was really slipping with work life balance.
Sounds rough. Kudos on the promotion!
