I over winter this exact coleus every year! I take stem clippings from my gigantic plant outside, clip the stems and put in a few inches of water in a glass and give it a few weeks to grow little roots. Then replant it in dirt. It will flourish! Super hardy! It will definitely bounce back. I’ve never lost a cutting yet!
Just to note, this coleus is meant to be outside. I only overwinter so I don’t have to buy several new ones each spring and it’s a fun activity. If your worried about yours being leggy, just cut all the stems and leave 4-8 leaves on each stem. You can start over! It won’t get as big and bushy as it will outside, but you’ll have some healthy clippings for next spring.
And yes, you should clip the flowers off. And if you cut the new growth in the middle at the top, you’ll promote fuller growth.

Coleus is usually grown as an annual, so you can try to save some seeds or just get a new one next year. I have had good luck growing them from seed. The seeds are absolutely tiny though, so you may want to just snip the seed pods into a plastic bag directly.
