Are there any other obvious tax considerations/ideas? It seems they should be able to offset most 2024 income with valid expenses (supplies, laptop, etc). Planning to get a business CC for a sign up bonus and to help track expenses.

I don't think SE tax will be material this year and we'll revisit for 2025 when we do our tax returns.

This job is a lot better if you don't care about the bonus and hours requirement. I can pretty easily bill 1700 hours annually and my firm so far hasn't cared in the slightest. Worrying about hitting 2000 hours for the bonus used stress me out so much, and I just don't think it's worth it. Base salaries are ridiculous and way more than enough to finance my lifestyle.
