I’m two weeks into baby two, and I gotta say: there’s no brain with which to engage in anything
Remember how babies don’t sleep?
You’ll be fine! Congrats! All those good feelings that come with a new baby are also all still there!

Congrats, you’ve forgotten how hard the first year is lol 😂. My thought is pretty much what McK1 said. The first year of a new baby’s life is not the right time to try to start something new and make a good impression.
Also, not to be a downer or anything but there’s no guarantee that number 2 will be the same experience as number 1. My wife and I had no indication that anything was amiss in her second pregnancy and then we had a preemie at 28 weeks (so about 3 months early) followed by a 69 day (yes that’s the exact number get your head out of the gutter) NICU stay. LEK was really flexible with me while my newborn was in the NICU and I took the bulk of my leave after he came home. I don’t know that I would have felt like I could do that if I was somewhere new and I was trying to establish myself
I have 5 kids. you'll be fine
they r young too.. all under 12...so been a rollercoaster.. but it gets better the older they get
Except your food and clothing bill looks like trash.. they are literally eating Me out of my house🤣
Ive switched jobs twice during as many of my wife’s pregnancies. It’s not easy, but it is possible.
I'm in the same boat. As much as my braincells have atrophied here (Acn), I'll stay put for a little while longer.
I’m an MD at Alix in the UK and have three young kids. The firm has always been good to me to help manage it - recognising consulting and young kids is never a great mix!
Yep - my wife doesn’t work (let me rephrase that ‘isn’t employed by a company’!). We used au pairs which is always hit and miss in London as we don’t have family around
