Reminds me of Amber Heard

Hi Guys, need help from you
I interviewed for tcs for SAP function Consultant and cleared technical as well as managerial round on same day. Next day I received mail from HR that I have been shortlisted and require to submit all the documents.
My CCTC is 21 LPA ( 19 fixed) and I put my expectations as 27 LPA (30 percent hike on Current CTC), YOE- 5.8 years till now and then need to serve 3 month NP ( till joining 6 years)
Which designation should I ask to TCS HR?
Mad CTC can I expect from TCS?Tata Consultancy

The question yall should be asking is if you intend on staying at your respective companies long term… I’d probably select a property that is closer to the major business districts… but that likely results in higher demand, and with it, a higher price point…

1. Commute- distance and options. Drive? train? Carpool? Hours you work and do either of you have flexibility to flex hours or work some days remote. Which way is worse traffic during high commute time?
2. If you have kids or planning to have kids- schools
3. Neighborhood and accessibility to the things you like to do
4. Long term career plans
How far are you each commenting now?
We just bought and went through this. I travel alot. I go into the office when not traveling. He works mostly remote. Decided on roughly equal distant to office and the airport on the side of town we prefer. Paid a bit of a premium to not be further, but worth it for us.

School districts and crime rates should be a considatiom when deciding on where to look, presuming that having kids is in the plan.
Rather than deciding who makes the longer drive up front, I suggest that you both do your research, pick homes and areas that you like, and then let the commute be a top deciding factor rather than the only driver.
100%… that’s an important consideration… personally I wouldn’t live in an area where the schools are ranked lower than 8/10… unless you want to send them to private schools or plan on moving by the time your first child is 5…
That is why some times it's good to also have a good remote position, that you can handle at any where
Yeah, if you can beat out the 200 other people that applied for the same position… 😂
What part of the city do you like? How's the transportation/highways/traffic? Any family you want to be near? Job location is certainly a factor, but far from the only one. I'm only 15 minutes from downtown, which is great for work....but the true reason we didn't go any farther north is because my parents are just south of the city and I wasn't willing to go any farther from them (just because I like them, and because my mom was our primary childcare when my kids were little). I was willing to settle here though because the traffic in every other direction is much worse.
We chose our house mostly for the neighborhood. It was kind of a mistake. You spend most of the time in the house, even with the commute. I would pick the house more than the location.
