I have 5 years of total experience, including 2 years in architecture, and I currently work for a major product company.

My current salary is 11 LPA. The quality of work does not meet my expectations and there is no ownership in the work I do. I feel underpaid because I've learned that most of my colleagues, including those who report to me, earn more. I recently received an offer for 14 LPA. What would be an ideal salary for someone with my experience?

One query, I have received an offer letter from Wipro (Career Group: C1) with package of 28 LPA, out of which INR 420000 is allocated as 'Variable Pay' which will be paid on quarterly basis'. I just started a new job 2 months ago, benefits and PTO don’t start until 90 days in so I still have a month before I can take off any time, and today found out my company doesn’t offer paid maternity leave.

I used to care about and chase the opportunity to produce cool/fun/funny work. But, as of the last couple years..it’s just more about stability, keeping working relationships happy, building finances, i.e. it’s just a job.
