They have gotten much, much quicker.
Literally me rn. 2 “quick turnaround” briefs before the holidays just to put some stuff together, all of it is fragmented and we just never have the right amount of time to get something right. Maybe im just having a hard time getting my head around it

Anywhere from ASAP to two weeks.
Lol you’re totally good, it clearly went over my head 😂
This makes sense, a week would be nice to get some actual winning ideas that client might like. I feel like we’ve been having 2-3 day sprints at a time with little to work with inspiration/research-wise and each time it feels like the creative keeps getting worse. Smaller jobs totally get, but bigger asks have been interesting to see how they’re rushing creatives
Timelines were so lax when I got in almost 30 yrs ago. A week to a month. We sketched our comps. Tissue sessions were exactly that. We presented foam core boards with a perfect 45 degree angle when it came time to show off the real work to the client.
Blessed were the days before email and cell phones were widely adopted. We worked late. But when we left, we left. People rarely called your home phone. And you were free until you were back the next day.
