(1) based on the historical performance of VOO, am I better off shifting all of my retirement and brokerage accounts to VOO? (2) how do I do that? How should I go about this? 1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. Suggestions?

I was assigned a project for a big brand a year ago through a recruitment agency, the brand now contacting me for another project & asking for a quote. What’s the common practice here?

I did sign a contract with the agency and in the freelance handbook it states out that within certain period of time any future projects from the same client needs to go through with the agency. But I don’t want them to take half of my pay check. Help!
