No one should be able to obtain a Engineer degree unless they have at least 6-10 years experience in the field they are going into.

Degree is education, it shouldn't be predicated on experience. You're thinking of something like the PE license.

like

It goes for like cars, manufacturing, architecture.
Things that a blue collar worker will go "what kind of DA engineer designed this"

How will they get experience without a degree?

Thank to God if someone give you oppurtunity to gain experience & you boldly write it ON your Cv

Perhaps you mean someone with an engineering degree shouldn't be put in a position to manage those actually doing the work without experience or as another said get certified. A degree is just a step on the learning latter that gives you base understanding and skills.

No argument there

Any advice on transitioning from medical sales to tech sales. I’ve been a top performing rep (ranked first and second) two out of the last three years at my current company and was top 5% at my previous company. I had my resume optimized and am getting rejected left and right even by healthcare tech and I’m not sure why. Any info or leads would be greatly appreciated!

Do you think women in the industry are paid lesser as compared to men.
Out of personal experience ,I can see that during compensation discussion HR person tries to convince a women candidate for a lesser package . Now this could also be the case where it is much easier to convince women to take up the job for lesser salary.
Whereas the male team member gets paid high (same YOE , same number of switch , similar prev CTC) though women are equally or more talented sometimes.

My dream job is to become a Data Scientist. I am looking for jobs right now as a Data analyst. Do you feel I should take time off from job hunt and work on gaining more skills to apply for Data scientist positions??
Should I enrol myself into a school(if so please suggest) ? OR should I just get a job as a Data Analyst??

My wife and I just had our second child, and we have also been dealing with her cervical cancer diagnosis. It has been a stressful year, to say the least. I want to do something nice for her, but money is tight right now because of the cancer treatment costs, and her being on unpaid leave because of the cancer treatments. What is something low cost I can do that will be a nice “couples thing” so we can de-stress, but also make her feel special?

I’m always tired, unmotivated, depressed, sometimes angry at my life, and I don’t know what to do. I’m in my sophomore year. I also don’t work in the field that I’m studying (computer science) because I’m always rejected without an interview, which is another aggravating factor for me. It’s hard to have time to work on personal projects to make my portfolio more attractive.
