Hey, anyone got leads for Dubai Big 4 Advisory Senior Manager compensation for candidates with EU/US experience? Thanks!
Ok attempt 2 at demystifying partner comp:
This Q is going to spark some debate. Are the following ranges for average comp for partner with 2-3 YOE accurate? (Not meant to diminish any firms!)
Group 1 - MBB, Tier 2 - Kearney, LEK etc, “deep specialists” - ZS, OW etc: $750k - $1.5M
Group 2: B4, “broad specialists” - Navigant, W. Monroe etc: $400-600K
Group 3: Regional - North Highland, Point B etc: $250-400K
Help me evaluate an industry offer for a B4 manager up for SM (got confirmation that I am thru the process). Current base is $171k .
$180k base, $35k sign-on bonus, full relocation, 35% bonus - 20% cash and 15% equity - 15% equity bonus is assured forever with 3 year vesting. Cash bonus fixed as long as rated average. Overall happy with offer but want to evaluate it against possible growth if I stay at B4.
What’s the difference in MBB partner pay vs. B4?
Current student here. How much would an Associate Cyber consultant focused on DFIR make in the Big 4? What about red teaming?
I’m an unmotivated Big 4 SM looking for a change. I love presenting to clients, sales meetings, and brainstorming with my team. I hate PM work, building decks, and butting heads with less than capable clients. Looking to pivot to industry but don’t know where to start. Tech focused.
Partners, how much did you make last year (+ how long have you been Partner and at which firm — Big 4, MBB, boutique, etc.). The usual response is that it’s complex — so trying to ask a simpler qn

Expected salary for ESG/Sustainability Senior Consulting roles? 5.5 YOE in ESG impact measurement. Non-MBA. Based in Philadelphia. Looking at roles at all four of the Big 4 firms.
FTI Transaction Advisory Services - how good is it? Thinking of making the jump there from big 4 audit. 2 years exp and CPA. Thinking it will be too hard and take too long to make the internal switch
Anybody here from Google’s GBS&O that moved from MBB or B4 consulting? Hoping to requests for some guidance for the interview.
Feel free to DM!
Hi guys. I recently moved from one big 4 to another as a fresh manager. I’ve been here a few months and have been working remotely, but I don’t think I’m getting the right coaching I need to climb up the ranks. One thing I’m looking to do is build relationships with Partners/MDs in other teams to get additional coaching from them. But I don’t know how or where to start as I’m totally new and inexperienced in this sort of thing. I’ll appreciate any thoughts on how I can do this effectively.
I’m looking to jump ship and is expected to pay back 100% of the legal fees for my green card application. How much is it typically? My case is super straight forward, PERM, EB-3 at a Big 4 from Accounting major
What are some good question to ask interviewers? I have an interview with one of the big 4 and haven't had an interview in ages, so I'm a bit rusty. Most of the suggestion I'm getting are stuff which can easily be answered by having a look at the company's website. I don't want to come off as if I haven't done my research by asking such questions.
How would you rate this offer:

Had 4 or 5 rounds with a Big 4, all seemed to go great and the managing partner and I really clicked. They told me they’d be in touch very soon but had to wait for my law school transcript. It just arrived today. Anyone know what this means? Are transcripts required for an offer/decision? TIA!

Hi Fishes, I suppose to get an offer from Oracle. It's been more then 1.5 months since I was told that I qualified the interviews. I contacted my HR few feews ago and got reply that my offer is still under process. Is there any chance that I will get the offer letter?
Has anyone worked with Angela Guido and team from CareerProtocol? If so could you share your experience?
Their services cost a pretty penny but they sold me on their package and it seems like they really care about your development in the application process as well. Additionally, could you also share your experience with financing as well (e.g., did you have to pay everything up front, are their installments based on milestones, etc.)?
Appreciate your feedback and insight!
Canadian gasoline prices soar to highest level in 14 years
Gasoline prices in most parts of Canada soared this week to the highest level in 14 years.
Data from Natural Resources Canada, which tracks gasoline prices across the country, shows that the retail price of Canadian regular grade gasoline has reached C$1.45 per liter, or about $7.37 per liter. This is an increase of C$0.40 (about $2.34) over the same period last year. According to Kalibrate, a gasoline price consulting firm, the weekly

Hello everyone! I am a Judicial Law Clerk, which I have been for a little over two years now. However, I’m planning on moving into the AML/Compliance realm. I have a background in finance, having been a Finance Disbursing Officer in the Army for 6 years with one deployment in that role. Additionally, I am currently a JAG attorney and studying for my CAMS, hoping to take that exam in the next month or two. Any advice or referrals for anyone I can talk to learn more about the field? Thanks! :)
I want to know, tcs block for future if we accept the offer and not join because got some better salary with other company.
Hello!! I'm looking for a recommendation for a courier service that knows their way around the Miami-Dade County courthouse at 73 W. Flagler St, Miami. We are a business located in Seattle and need to pick up and record a certified judgment to obtain a lien. Even though this is a time sensitive matter, it's also sensitive in general, so looking for someone reliable. Thanks!
Feeling overwhelmed but grateful.
So I’m going for a new sales role and the company doesn’t have a sales function at all, I’d be their first sales hire. They’re a PPC marketing company. They’re unsure of commission structures, what should I suggest?
I’m looking to make a shift to sales engineering/solutions architecture roles from consulting in the cloud and infrastructure monitoring space with 3 YOE.
Anyone open to having a conversation about your firm and how to make that shift from consulting?
Wells Fargo 5 of your recruiters have reached out to me for iOS developer roles in the last month lol. I tell all of em fuck no unless it’s remote but your company is trying to strong arm developers into moving to high cost of living areas.
Lol good luck staying relevant
In your perspective, what age is ideal for a man to get married? Similarly, what’s the ideal age for women. I know it depends, but if you had to say a rule of thumb and generalize.
I love teaching art but am having to teach remotely to 1150 kids, k - 5. Have about 54 amazing elementary art teachers in my district that share SO much! I could retire (34 yrs), but just don’t want to because I love what I do! Feeling like my students aren’t getting what they should because I am struggling with Zoom, Microsoft, safe YouTube, bitmoji, embedding, downloads, editing, etc. Anyone else feeling this way?
Any green franchises?!

What groups are you all in?
Any attorneys exit PA for tax counsel jobs? Besides going to a law firm, what exits have you seen people make? Not interested in big law as I am already losing my mind working these covid hours.
I am currently a senior associate in M&A tax and was thinking about switching to the Office of Associate Chief Counsel in DC (i.e., IRS's national office and not a field office). Is it difficult to go to a big law firm or in-house from the IRS? I have heard stories where big law firms won't hire someone because he / she was in the government, but not sure if it is true for the Office of Associate Chief Counsel.
Anyone exit for in house counsel jobs? How much does general counsel pay v tax counsel, say 5 YOE?

Yes. At least JD/LLMs do
Yes. Generally about $15k to $20k more per year. So if a first year staff CPA with a MACC or Masters of Tax gets $50k, a JD will probably get $65K to $70K, and maybe more depending on the market. JD/LLMs probably can add another $10k to each of High or low end.
Maybe true for JD but difference is higher for JD/LLMs. JD/LLM in nyc start at 125k+15k signing bonus at ey
Yes and no. Some specialty practices pretty much only hire jds (like mine) and your salary is generally higher than other groups. Once you’re in, I don’t think there is a difference and long-term, if you make partner, no difference whether you’re a cpa or attorney.
Depending on the market, JD/LLMs start as an associate at $85,000 - $125,000. I have also almost doubled my salary in 7 years. From speaking to my peers who are accountants, even with more years of experience than me, they are still paid less, so the talk about it all evening out might take more time (SM/Director/Partner level)
