Would switching from SALT to privacy law as a S1 be a bad move?

Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?

I’ve decided to make my career in the government side of consulting. Been doing it 10 years. Seems hard to find jobs where I manage people unless at a big 4. Anyone else find this true?

What is the salary range for Senior Consultant level in KPMG ? Yoe-7 ;Tech : SAP IBP. Is Scon level is good or shall i ask for Manager? Is SCON or Assistant Manager is one and the samw thing?

Need help thinking through this…Debating leaving to a tech startup. Very early stage ($3-7M ARR), would have a big role leading strategy and Ops. It’s a cash paycut, which is a bummer but the equity would be pretty good. Just nervous about leaving before hitting the full manager role and taking a paycut in this market to bank on equity. Today I called that TOP MNC same. They asked me to share screenshot - I shared . Now they are asking complete offer letter of CG but I denied as I feel this is not right to share docs.
