Bain & Company Not sure how I feel about this. MBB is great for some things, but I still think they're weakest when it comes to startup intuition and know-how.

About to head to the HC for a role in ProdOps and Strategy in Mountain View. 4 YoE at MBB, no competing offers. Recruiter gave me a form that asks expected comp.
Levels.fyi has only PM salaries. I haven’t been told the level but expect it to be L4.
What total comp would you expect for this role? Any advice would be super helpful, as I’m a bit lost.

I mean we can also look at your 401k and say you made poor investment decisions based on your ytd performance

It also seems like the avg DD length was about a week…
I have some friends who did YC and then raised from Tiger. They actually preferred the hands off approach Tiger had (as a result of moving very rapidly through investments) rather than having more investors worm their way into managing their companies.
It has pros and cons. Other entrepreneurs prefer more hands on investors.
