Trying to get PBCs from the client

Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.
Nagarro

I dream of a world where, when a job is killed after treatments are submitted, the client reimburses the production houses a pitch fee for the time and money invested in vain.
This is called, the cost of doing business, you think agencies get paid for pitching new business? We spend a lot more money and resources than putting together a treatment. There’s various reasons why projects die at any given point of the process
Actually, it’s not worse to kill a project after it’s shot. People got paid. Killing a project after treatments is just cheap.
Well... In your case people get paid. In mine, they don’t. So I guess it depends on who you have empathy for
I had one die in the final conform a few years ago. Miserable. Terrible
Oh yeah there is. Shooting it, watching it turn out great, then having the client destroy it in post or shelve it. But I sympathize with you. I know from experience that sucks pretty bad, too.
Just got a project killed less than a week before shipping it 😕
Omg. Was that my last project? Presented estimate and expected award next morning only to find out entire project cancelled. Argh.
Ugh...
Oh no...I’m sorry
Well the point is a lot of effort was spent shooting something that’ll never see the light of day. Maybe there’s more to being in this biz than money??
On the bright side, an idea never really dies, it’s all experience and added perspective. I’ve had million $ projects die after post. Sure it sucks but you become better by doing the work.
I did talkspace for like 2 years. It helps.
