Usually anonymity on the internet brings out the absolute worst in ppl; they type things anonymously that they would NEVER say in person smh. But I really haven’t seen horrible comments here. Manager at Deloitte, traditional consulting track. Current base is 200. How hard would it be to find a comparable base if I transitioned to an exec search firm? Any tips? Just starting to network now. TIA

How did everyone here end up in executive search? Are you that rare unicorn who wanted to be a search consultant/researcher when they grew up?

I, like most people, fell into it and didn't realise it existed until I was working in it. Came upon through a personal connection I made while I was studying, started as data entry part time and voila, ended up coming back as a researcher.
