I have an offer of around 39 LPA + bonus and my wife is holding an offer of 32 LPA in India. Now I have received another offer from a fintech organization in Berlin, Germany who are providing me 69k Euros as base salary + 5k Euros as RSU and also an on call support of 5k Euros annually + complete relocation assistance package. My wife currently doesn't have any offer for Germany and might need to search for a job after reaching there. Is it worth? Need your suggestions please.

Two company A&B gave more or less package X+3 Lakh.

Can we still negotiate with company A Or B to get top up from X+3 to make a clear decision to choose over one other.

Started a new job a year ago, high performer. My manager suggested a promotion to Product Manager since that‘s the work I’m doing, but that would be a 50% raise. Higher ups decided instead to make a “new role” (not PM), that has no analog in the company and is hard to price via Glassdoor, etc. I feel like this is to limit my promotion salary to something like 10% from where it currently is. 48/M, average health. Few weeks ago I had a seizure out of the blue. First time ever, no family history. At the hospital given lots of tests: MRI, CT, EKG, EEG, blood/urine/COVID tests. Everything came back normal. Since hospital discharge I’ve seen cardiologist and wore halter monitor for a week. All good. Have neurologist appointment next month but afraid no one knows why this happened. In the meantime no one wants me to drive a car. Can this happen again? Can anyone relate to this situation?

Question: do y’all really love this stuff and understand it? Or are you all on the “fake it til you make it” wave? I ask because I’m in a specialty group under the Corporate umbrella and many of the partners and some senior associates are extremely smart and clearly enjoy this stuff. Some even do “night time reading” to catch up on the recent laws. I, on the other hand, cannot wrap my head around it most of the time and would rather not waste energy doing it. Is it just me? I feel like I can’t redeem my career. I’ve been out of paying work since I graduated. My bar was delayed due to a medical problem and since then I’ve only been able to find volunteering. I’ve been working for free for 2 years now. My network is tapped, my mentors are confused why I can’t find anything, my law school’s career services actually gave up on me, I don’t have the money to move to a new place, I have no other support and I can’t even go back to retail because nobody’s hiring out here.
