Bowl Leader
I would take the NTT role and get the hire base and for sure bonus. Performance based bonuses based on company don’t excite me as that’s not a sure thing (and not likely based on what you said).
Money now is always better than money later.

This ☝️
IBM without a question.
I am curious why you picked IBM. Wondering if I missed something.
Both offer roles are mix of delivery & sales focus. Both roles look similar.
Idk anything about NTT DaTa but wouldn’t advise coming to IBM if you care about money. I’ve been here for 3 years and any “bonus” I got was like 500 dollars max (not a typo). Also IBM is terrible at raises ...really only get them when you promote
What would you be doing within GBS? Hard to compare based on company+comp alone
Role involves Hybrid Cloud Transformation, App modernization etc.
Both offer roles are mix of delivery & sales focus. Both roles look similar.
Any advice, input, guidance is highly appreciated.
Skills and experience? I don’t have much to offer in terms of advice but god damn both those options are crazy and really good.
Aah that makes sense
I’d go to the money
NTT .... Ibm is a sinking ship
Ha ha,yeah I have been hearing it for over a decade
I'm going wherever they value loyalty the most.
Skills ?
My Skills: Hybrid Cloud Transformation (AWS focus), App modernization in Java/J2EE focus.
Any advice, input, guidance is highly appreciated.
Do you have a sales target?
Generally IBM GBS is is a low tier IT consulting shop and doubt you’d be working on exciting projects. You can get 200k base at a smaller AWS partner doing cooler work.
Can you tell more about the role description breakdown?
Whats yoe
nearly 20 years
What level are you coming at IBM? Band 9 or 10?
That is some good TC from NTT. That’s more than what I get as a band 10 due to lack of bonus from IBM.
20 years experience is way more yoe than what band 9 should have, I’d go NTT
I would suggest IBM , its a 100 year old company with encouragement for learning and innovation in its DNA, i don't belive we should be looking is the company a well sailing ship ?? We should join and make the company a great and smooth sailing ship.. That's why we are being hired !!
IBM in all ways is what i suggest.
