Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

I'm in a pretty good mood and I'm looking forward to what I expect to me an enjoyable weekend. Musk may have finagled lots more money than me, but I take solace in knowing that he seems like a miserable and bitter person who never has a happy day.
Why would someone else's salary ruin my day?
I am grateful for what I have, not bitter because of someone else.
I think the chances of the shareholders approving this have to be pretty slim. I’m struggling to believe that their NPS scores could give them any indication that Elon is a good thing for the company - this seems pretty delusional.
Great, how fun for him. I'm doing about as good as can be. Winning the powerball would definitely improve my mood, but it's Friday, I've got plans to meet up with friends tonight, and the weather is finally nice. No room for complaints, all things considered.

This is the world we have chosen.
May I also point out that when he's no longer of this earth one day, that wealth will likely not be redistributed to good causes to help humanity. By his own admission he is creating his own legion by paying women to act as incubators to create babies for him because he is concerned about world population levels (I think we can look around and agree that we're not swimming in an unpopulated sea of plentiful jobs and resources with no one to take them; the opposite is true; his concern is about not having enough of the right color people, something which can be verified by the color of the incubator women he has paid).
This legion of offspring will inherit his money. Will they do good with it? Perhaps. Vivian Wilson might. But I don't think she's accessing that wealth due to his attitude toward who she is.
As for the others? Well, let me just say this. Asperger's syndrome runs in my family. It tends to run in male children more than females. And I can say that there is a definite impact on emotional intelligence and expression, even in empathy.
By his own admission, Musk has said he has been diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, though today it is referred to as Autism Spectrum Disorder. Do we find it normal that he may end up having at least 15 offspring that we know of, maybe twice, three or four times that in the coming years, with a strong chance that a significant number of them may inherit the condition (3 out of 4 of my cousins inherited that from their father, who inherited it from his father: they do not lack intelligence, just appropriate ineractions with others, emotional intelligence, and a bit of empathy).
These will be the richest people in the world, and they will be flattered by others with money, will be at the heads of companies, industries, maybe government, and yet they may, through their condition, lack the empathy required to live in harmony in our society formed through the social contract that we agree to be a part of by virtue of choosing to live together and not as hermits in the woods.
What will the world look like being run by the rich offspring of the richest man of the world when they will biologically potentially be incapable of proper empathy and emotional intelligence? If we think the world is bad now for those living paycheck to paycheck, what will it look like with rich ASD nepo babies running the world? For increasingly more people, there won't be a paycheck to live paycheck to paycheck from. Very scary stuff. And no one seems to be talking about this aspect of his incubator procreation frenzy and the impact it will have in 30-40 years' time. I am glad I'll be dead by then.

I wonder how they can afford this? Isn't Tesla in trouble? Seems a little sus to me.
