not down on life, just down on obvious clout chasers who post things under the guise of a "story" - like, what is this story meant to inspire people to do? pay more attention to student work? lol - buddy, looking at student work and hiring talented ones is literally part of the job
also, it's not like the student was plucked from obscurity - his work was already on the front pages of newspapers for a very important story. which is genuinely cool and good for him! but op tries to make it sound like he took a big chance on this student and if it weren't for his intuition, then some coca-cola ad never would've happened? lol then he straight up asks people to repost
again, not sure what insight or lesson is meant to be pulled from this story other than a smattering of key words that make shitty ECDs and "brand storytellers" pat each other on the back
