McKinsey & Company How likely is McKinsey to rescind an offer if there's a recession/downturn before my start date? Received an Associate offer with a start date early in the Fall. But I'm worried about the offer being rescinded due to the ongoing McK scandals/issues and a potential recession in the making (which may prompt them to freeze hiring and/or renege offers).
Has this happened to anyone before at McKinsey, offer getting rescinded due to economic/company downturn? A bit worried

I’m doing a website but the text updates seem like a lot unless it’s a destination wedding!!
I think website is good for those (myself included) that throw away or misplace the invites. For our wedding we did a simple paper invite and a website with more details on hotel blocks, FAQs etc since we had a lot of internationals flying in. I have not been to any weddings with text invites so that does seem like overkill!
I’m going to put your paper invite on my fridge and throw away all of the inserts so please for the love of god give me an easily google-able website with the time and address of your wedding. Also if you have a registry it by no means should be mentioned anywhere in your invite or inserts so unless you have some traditional and gossipy aunties please just make the damn website.
We’re doing a website so we can make it as easy as possible for people to have all the details. Between date, venue, hotel, schedule, and registry it’s a great way to put everything together. I have 5 weddings in the next year and the sites are the only way to keep up with everything
I often consult wedding websites to, as an example, figure out what time the welcome party or ceremony starts. Including double checking it the day of. But if you don’t want one, don’t have one. It’s nbd.
Also I can click a link to book the hotel and buy the gift, so that’s nice.

text updates?? honestly i think a website purely for date and location purposes is helpful so people can reference it ahead of sending your invites (i’m an invitation vendor) but you don’t need anything crazy detailed

you can only include so much in the invite suites, so it’s nice to provide things to do in the area or more about good places to stay or other things just to help your guests
I put everything on my website - including seating chart. I physically can’t spend money on paper that no one will think about even for a second. No text updates tho
Yeah! We’re having a smaller destination wedding so only about 4 tables, and we put the QR code for the website in our welcome bags too. Our wedding planners will be on site to direct people in case they forgot/didn’t look etc
Do a website, no need for text updates unless you’re having an outdoor wedding that would require a significant change of plans if it rains. Website it helpful because people traveling for the wedding aren’t going to remember to bring your invite and they’ll need the address and times.
