Okay, I know the government funding issue keeps going back and forth and since I have only been working in government for a few months I have some concerns. If the government does get shut down, which jobs will still get paid? From what I understand most of us won’t be getting paid during the shutdown, but do we still work through the shutdown and get back pay when things open back up?

My Dept has been tapped to help another dept promote a DEI study. The client dept has hired a consultant in this area. The challenges I see with this consultant's work style:

-dominating conversations
-micromanaging things outside her area
-steering things toward her own promotion over our company's agenda
