This is what happens when none of your leaders, specifically the executives at Omnicom, have never worked in an agency. They despise the space you take up on their balance sheets.
Used to be that once you hit 1000, they'd give you another 250 then slide you over to a sister agency and reset the clock. Made no sense to anyone, but here we are.
Anyone with a law degree know why the holding cos do this?

They are technically required to start providing certain benefits after 1000 hours. So, it sounds like they’re being more careful legally (sometimes in the past, agencies let it slide if they thought the freelancer wouldn’t make waves).
But I’m sure it’s also a way to have fewer freelancers. It’s never as easy to get them back in as you’d think.
Was overtime watched closely or was it free reign?
When I worked at Omnicom overtime was not allowed if you were freelance , you were not allowed to go to corporate events and you were capped at 8 hours a day 40 per week. And travel time was not paid either
But why the 1000 hour limit if the freelancers technically work for Atrium? Are there some freelancers who don’t work for Atrium?
