On my resume how far back should I go back with my educational history? Obviously not going to go back to kindergarten but I just want to know from what point I need to include?

Just your relevant college degree (s)

like

Seems like that’s the general consensus, thanks

I was going to say Kindergarten but apparently that’s off the table now

likefunny

Had to make sure to add that before some smart ass said it

Only degrees earned. Never high school or colleges transferred out of.

like

Thanks, think I’ll just do that then

if you ONLY have a high school degree, you list it.

if you are working in a particular region where your local high school carries alumni-community-weight that will open doors, then you can consider listing it too. as long as you’re not too many years removed from it.

otherwise you only list college degrees and subsequent post-grad education. nothing earlier.

Thanks I’ll just list my college then

I usually only see college on application forms but sometimes they do request high school.

Thanks I’ll just keep it to college then

Any recommendations for good videographers in NYC/Tri-State? A lot of the affordable ones I find make the cheesiest videos. I’ve certainly found some good ones but very expensive. I know you get what you pay for, but there has to be someone reasonably priced out there that delivers quality work. I am splurging on the photographer so this would just be an extra.

Hey everyone, general question here, Currently a Senior Assurance Associate , looking to make a career move as i’m really over public at this point. I’ve had a few colleagues recommend Consulting, as i had the personality and “mouth” for it. So wanted to begin my endeavor on the bowl to ask has anyone made this career move. What exactly does consulting entail. What field of Consulting have you moved to if the experience fit. Very general question, hoping for past experiences.

I am just unsure whether to accept the offer as I was waiting for kpmg reply as I want B4 on my resume which apparently is a big deal. Is BT also good on resume for future employers ??

Out of curiosity. How would a company view a potential candidate who has a period of unemployment to study for the CPA. I am considering to start studying for the exam but I know I would need to leave my employer in order to give 110%. I am contemplating the idea of at least passing one part while employed. Then leaving my employer to study FAR. I am considering to leave my current employer anyways, so it’s more of how my future employer would view that lapse.
