Hey everyone, general question here, Currently a Senior Assurance Associate , looking to make a career move as i’m really over public at this point. I’ve had a few colleagues recommend Consulting, as i had the personality and “mouth” for it. So wanted to begin my endeavor on the bowl to ask has anyone made this career move. What exactly does consulting entail. What field of Consulting have you moved to if the experience fit. Very general question, hoping for past experiences.

Hmm it’s much like the advisory umbrella within the big four. They all function the same. Tell us what you don’t like about public accounting because maybe we may be of help. I came from the big four and another large public accounting firm but started my career within the advisory practice and it’s all similar tbh. You have your big consulting firms too like the big four but again they’re all the same

DM me for a referral into consulting, my firm has a bunch of different practices if you’re interested
