SC1 jelly. At PWC 1 - You truly have to enjoy flying for this. I mean I personally take quick weekend trips to europe for dinner with friends or visit friends as much as I can. Literally if I don't get on a plane once a month I go nuts.

like

Wow, neat.

like

OP I am 100% with you. I love to live on planes.

RT = round trip. You need to read up my friend

like

You can say wtf you want. Free country.

How rich are you that you casually go to Europe for lunch?

@D1 I've never paid more than 500 RT to europe and on average I pay about 300 on full service carriers. And I book in bulk.

@D1 also you have to look at the seasonality of fares. Sometimes I book europe to usa round trips or vice versa. Points one direction if I need it. You can get business class tickets 1400 RT for the full service price most suckers pay if you originate in europe.

What does RT mean??

Ahh. And dang I'll have to check these out... feeling dumb for my 1k RT to Germany for Oktoberfest

Yea i booked mine last month. you could have gone as low as 500 RT

I did jfk - amsterdam RT delta 325 , then i needed a sep flight to northern germany before heading to munich. 8,500 flying blue points. train to berlin party 1 night. then 4,500 avios points to munich.

OP, drop a burner. We would get along well.

To be fair- wanted nonstops from EWR to Berlin and Munich to EWR and was using UR points so was a bit limited. But yea probabaly could've gotten cheaper

@Sc1 will post one. Cheap isn't always convenient :-)

Can’t believe I’m saying this...but I need to get back to office and work with people. Working at home is making me realize how much I miss the routine of the week when I had to drive or fly to work. Basically, I’m ready to travel for work. Not the same amount as Pre-Covid, but 50% 50% balance would be nice if the industry moves to this type of consulting model. Thoughts?
