Opportunity to pivot from Insurance Defense PI to Plaintiffs-side PI for almost 30k salary bump. If you generally like the people you currently work with would you do it? Obviously no billable hours doing Plaintiffs PI but I cant imagine their work day being any less stressful or the performance demand any less than on the defense side, especially if they are offering more money. Ok, I don’t think an MBA is a guaranteed win $$ wise. At worst I just end up making a very similar TC (~140-150), at best I end up with 30-50 more. But I think I’m interested in an MBA for the experience, for a break from work, and to explore other opportunities. Is the loss of the opportunity cost a big enough factor to prevent me from going?

I had a super urgent TRO come up. I got the call at 6 am and drafted the complaint, memo of law, and all the supporting docs in a single day. I know they’re not perfect abs they’re not going to be 100 pages in one day. Will the court be understanding of typos etc?
