Oh absolutely not…
This is the sort of thing flooding my feed with an inexplicable number of "Wow, spot on" and "Really insightful, thanks for sharing!" type of comments.
Everyone wants to be a thought leader these days.
It not entirely inaccurate - even based on some of the comments here. The number of hiring managers on this app that actively admit to pedigree based bias is only proof in my mind of the systemic advantage of growing up with wealthy as it relates to the ability to accumulate it.
I think the "start a business" bullet is the clearest indicator of class privilege.

🤷♀️hmmm…that isn’t how I would describe his teachings in the book…but I guess to each their own. If what he is saying doesn’t apply to one’s life then they don’t need to shift their financial mindset in the way he suggests. I found a lot of it valuable.
There is a book called “rich dad, poor dad” that teaches this lesson. It’s actually an amazing book that I would recommend reading. These bullets summarize it but make it seem more shallow without having all the additional context.
Anyway…I don’t necessarily agree that this content is bad if you are familiar with the book. 🤷♀️
If I am remembering correctly….
The “poor dad” came from a wealthy family that valued education. I think he was a professor but made just over $100k a year but lived pay check to pay check.
The “rich dad” started from nothing but understood how to make his money make money. Never got an education but took jobs with the purpose to teach him how to run a business. Invested in real estate…never bought anything until he had the cash…etc…
Anyway…great book…
