Parents travelling to Mumbai from SFO via Cathay Pacific. They missed connecting flight from Hongkong due to delayee first flight. Cathay put them on flight to Delhi and now they have to take one more flight from Delhi to Mumbai. Can I ask Cathay for compensation? Anyone faced similar situation?

I interviewed for an employed role and knocked my business plan pitch out the park, but could tell I disappointed them with my technical. By my own admission I’m lacking in this area as only have 1.5 years experience with a poor manager who only had me focus on biz dev.

Dad passed away 2 months ago. I traveled to India and stayed for 2 months, dealt with significant red tape to close his cards, loans, transfer pensions, etc. A succession certificate is WIP for one of his accounts, so mom decided to stay back until it’s done.
