Buckle up, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride
Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

Counsel rather than partner here, but I highly, highly avoid giving advice on the fly for this reason if it's about a specific set of facts and I haven't had time to digest. I'll give preliminary thoughts, but unless it's something basic or something I am 100% certain on, I'll indicate I want to confirm offline and will round back via email once I've done so.

Yeah, I’ve noticed watching partners on calls that when clients ask certain points the partner didn’t specifically prepare for, they’ll often say something like, “I’d have to double check the agreement, but I believe that’s correct. Will confirm and get back to you.”
Little stuff? They do it all the time

None of the partners I work with give substantive advice on calls unless they’ve specifically prepared for the narrow issues being discussed. Otherwise, they may offer their judgment but couch it in caveats and defer to a later discussion after having a chance to prepare or loop in a subject matter expert.
Let us circle back on that.
