PE recruiting happening earlier and earlier. Anyone have info on when on cycle interviews are going to start this year?

Feeling really low after 2 rejections so far of the 4 different companies I am pursuing for my next job. What have been your experiences job hunting? Did you get the first place you went for or did it take some effort? Grateful to hear your experiences and find a bit of hope.....

I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule. This is a major red flag, but I can’t help but feel that I am missing out since this role pays 50% over what I currently make. Should I let the recruiter know? What’s your take on this?

Just interviewed somewhere that’s considered a great agency and who’s work I LOVE, but it didn’t feel right... it went really well, but something doesn’t feel right. Advice???

Interviewed for Deloitte S&A Tech Strategy SC and got a verbal offer for Consultant instead. I negotiated the offer to 120K salary and 10K signing bonus. I’m a boomerang with 4 years ERP consulting but this past year I’ve been doing DEI Consulting. Spoke with former colleagues who rejoined Deloitte and got a much higher offer for SC. How do I go back to the recruiter to negotiate further? I suggested that I’d probably sign but need time to think. Now I’d like to go back and request 140k salary.

Anyone aware of the interview process for DAZN frontend role ?

I had my final round of SDE1 interview at Dehaat 3 days ago, feedback came back positive and HR also had salary discussion. However just next day I got mail saying Dehaat has temporarily frozen hiring process. Anyone working at Dehaat can tell me what is happening at Dehaat currently? I'm looking to confirm that when potentially coming back on at Microsoft, the hiring manager will be able to see my previous connects. I had a great experience at Microsoft, and would like to keep that door open in my mind, though my last connect has what I would call unfair characterizations due to a unique chain of events.

How long does it take HR to get back after final round of interview? I had 3 rounds each of 45 minutes spread over more than a week and it went well. The final interviewer had told me that HR would get back on next steps. It's been about a week now but haven't heard back from them.

I’m currently a business manager in banking and thinking to move to the program manager role as a step towards more broader opportunities in the future (COO, consulting type of roles).
