Hi I've joined Harman in May but hasn't been assigned to any project yet. I've asked hr and reporting manager they said they're working on it and there's nothing to be worried about However I just want to know if there's anything I should be concerned about what's the bench policy? It is, but I would encourage you to do a lot of the self-study on your own. Knowing the lingo and feeling confident with the language of sales is a big thing. There is a pretty huge learning curve, but you can find out pretty much everything online and having that knowledge when you go into the interview will be really helpful.
I'd imagine so. You've got to have decent people skills to have lasted any amount of time in the retail world. Target an entry level role and really study up like SM1 said. There's going to be a steep learning curve, but if you can make it through that, I see no reason you couldn't be successful in the sales world.
