Yeah, of course. Your pay equates to how much your company values you. A company that pays more will always value you more.
Hmmm.... I would consider staying at the current job. Maybe ask for a pay raise. 🤔 Is the other job somewhere promising? Is the retention rate good? Are the benefits better? How are the hours etc? Is it everything you want? Look before you leap.
If I had no concerns about the stability of the new company, I would go for it. More money in the bank is more security if you do get laid off, and there is no guarantee that your current job is any safer than the new one.
That’s the real question
There are so many variables. But really, how better is the pay? Probably not for 5%, maybe for 10%, absolutely at 20% unless there are serious red flags.
