By law savings accounts are supposed to limit you to 6 withdrawals per month. If you can stay under that there are generally no issues with just having HYSA.
I still live at parent home. I mainly have 3 cc in rotation of use, so if I pay them off each month, only 3 transactions max each month.
theres fees if you pay with a savings acct
Hmm... for making more than 6 transactions a month?
Maybe the question is why do you have a savings account? The rates are pointless at the moment, so if you’re looking for simplicity, just have a checking.
I’d do a tiered emergency fund in a brokerage account. 10K in MM fund (1.8%) 10K ST Corp Bonds (3.5%) 10K Total Bond Index (2.6%) and 10K in high dividend yield blue chips (4% + Cap Appreciation 4-6 %).
How do you pay your bills?
