Planning a little treat myself day, which includes getting a pedicure and grabbing some boba or coffee. I’ve only been to a nail salon a couple times and can’t recall if I saw other customers doing this, but is it considered rude to sip on a beverage while getting your nails done? I may be overthinking this, but didn’t want to break any unknown rules.

I once saw a woman straight up fall asleep while getting a manicure. I think you’re good sipping on a drink.

Gotta sneak a nap in when you can these days lol!!

Lol I bring a drink and a downloaded show. Not rude in the slightest. You are a very considerate person

like

It’s fine.

For people who get their nails done regularly and have a regular tech, they sometimes bring a coffee for them as well.
But it sounds like you are far from a regular, so PLEASE don’t feel like you have to do this!!

like

It's fine! I've been to a nail salon before where they offer drinks!

like

Yeah it's totally fine, I've done it before too - I just try to keep it out of their way so it's not disruptive

like

Totally fine.

Sometimes I have Starbucks delivered to my salon cause I’m always running late lol. I’m a regular and often buy some for the manager or whoever is doing my nails.

Not at all. I bring coffee to the salon almost all the time. Just make sure you take extra precaution with handling your drinks. You don't want to cause inconvenience to your nail tech.

I can see a problem with that but I don't think it would be that big a of a deal. I'm pretty close with my nail tech that's why I feel comfortable bringing drinks around.

Bring your nail tech something to drink so you wouldn't feel to bad about it. But this would only work if you and your nail tech are pretty comfy with each other.

If it bothers you, you can just message your nail tech in advance if it would be okay to bring drinks with you. Make sure you bring your nail tech something to drink as well.

It's totally fine. Just be extra careful though. But if your main concern is smudging the piece of art, don't worry and thank heavens for UV Lamps.

I want better for myself and family but 1. I don't enjoy the same things forever 2. Imposter syndrome and RSD make me believe it's acceptable to start over in new places at low salaries. 3. Typical college won't work for me. 4. I also can't relocate.
