Planning on asking my boss if they will start giving me new/different types of work and assignments today. The work I do is extremely repetitive and has been the same exact work for a year now. I love my job and my boss, and I’m super grateful for them, but I just feel very stagnant as a junior at the company and think diversifying my workload would be very beneficial. Been in house for 5 years with current company (practice for 7), considering a move to a firm that is mid size but on big law pay scale - firm claims to be big on work/life balance. Currently working a ton and only making $140k + 20% bonus. Given how everyone dreams of moving in-house, am I crazy to move to a firm?

Moved over to a review system called 15Five. It allows you to review your manager. I gave my manager a terrible review. The catch is: they get to “anonymously” see your reviews. Bad move?

Hi all, i am selected in Infosys and offer got released and everything is finalized. Now from Infosys bg practice they asked for "Abbreviation for initial" i just reverted back to them... Will this be an issue in joining... What should I be reading or researching? First gen lawyer here, always been small firm. I’m at a 2 attorney firm now and was just approached about becoming a partner. The boss wants to clean up the books so I can review them and we can discuss. Other than professional connections, I have no idea where to turn for info/insight. I’m definitely interested, but obviously this is a big decision, so I don’t think a “partner? Sure, I’m in” is appropriate.
