Does anyone want to share their offer for a CSM role at a SaaS company? Base, comp, RSU? Final rounds are next week and was told offers would come fast so trying to do research now. Honestly back in the day my “Dream job” would’ve been to work at like HP. Don’t sell yourself short, anything can happen.

@OP- did you interview for your dream job or dream company? I would assume the dream job can be done in several companies, not think about just one company.
Dream job is overrated. I interviewed at what was my dream job, didn’t get it. Now working at a different place that I really love! I probably would’ve been happy there, but I’m happy here as well! So just keep at it, and make the best of your life no matter where you go.

It happened to me too. I continued on my path and pursued alternative options. You might not be ready for that dream job yet, so don’t give up now. Or it’s possible that it isn’t meant to be and that you might find something else that you’ll end up loving even more.
Be patient, don’t beat yourself up and mess up your confidence. Be gentle to yourself! Well done for trying and going for it! Now reflect, learn and move forward!

When I was job hunting I was turned down by a big tech company for what at the time was my dream job. A few months later I had an offer from Bain and i’m glad the other opportunity didn’t work out. Hindsight is 20/20 but I do believe that everything happens for a reason. Keep working hard and be patient OP!

This was me last year, and then I found an even better job. But I needed to have 1000000 informational interviews first to learn what other paths were out there for me and expand my vision to include jobs that I didn’t even know existed
It’s okay keep trying or find a pivot role, certification, mba, etc that’ll help you get there. Don’t quit
Your dreams change over time. And don’t feel limited to that particular role. You can achieve the same dream in a different way 🤗
Use that sting to improve yourself for the next big interview that comes along. Keep searching for that next big interview. Think about whether this job was really everything you wanted or whether you’ve been holding onto that “dream” for a long time — maybe you’ve changed.
And remember that your job doesn’t determine your value
Live, breathe.. take a moment to recoup your positive energy and aim higher
