1 year ago I joined Tech Mahindra and due to some personal reasons, I absconded and joined another company.

After few days Tech Mahindra sent me “Negative Full and Final settlement email” with penalty amount which I have paid and now I am following up multiple times but they have not provided me reliving letter.

In that email they said Relieving Letter will be released within one week of receipt for outstanding payment but still I am not getting reply.

In my offer letter it stated a signing bonus to be paid on the first available payroll after my start date. Its been a month since my first paycheck and HR and the Payroll team are incredibly unresponsive to my inquiry on where this bonus is. What’s the next course of action? Legal? Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)
