Compensation expectations for VP level at 100M VC fund? 8 YOE consulting plus top 5 MBA

I just got promoted at A.con level and when my manager asked me salary expectations I told very less pay wherein as per industry standards it is quite high. Would I get salary as per industry standards or as what I expected?
