How difficult is obtaining an AWS cloud practitioner cert if you’re not particularly technical?
S2 right now. Planning to leave in spring 2023 and get MBA. If I still perform above average/well up until I leave for school - Could I push to get promoted to manager with the intention of leaving right after? I want to get the official title change as it may help with recruiting while in b school. I also am considering letting my immediate partner know this as soon as I get a high gmat score.
What’s the most effective way to prepare for the AWS cloud practitioner exam? No prior AWS experience currently

CMT vs CAIA? I currently work in sales for an asset manager and have an MBA. Would like a designation, one that’s applicable to asset management and has some status/recognition. Appreciate any thoughts or insights. (Also dont want to take CFA)
Those who took the AWS CCP exam - do you get questions like “how much does a storage type cost per GB per month” in the exam? Trying to figure out whether this level of detail is required to be memorized for the exam
This may have been posted already, but what are top certifications to get around data management? Not talking specific like AWS cloud practitioner, but rather something more broadly applicable and marketable.
What kind of opportunities would getting a certification in Googles AI Cloud platform provide?
Any folks from Guidehouse in here that work in the IT practice? I’d love to chat. I’m a developer looking to transition into IT consulting. I know things are tough right now but I’m thinking long term. AWS cloud practitioner and AWS developer associate certified. TIA!!!!
Thoughts on Prosci or SHRM-SCP certification? Which would be considered more valuable or highly regarded? Currently focused on Change Management but have a HR background (industry experience / area of study in college).
cloud ☁️ fish 🐟: i am interested in learning more about the cloud space although i haven’t worked on any cloud projects. would getting newbie certs like AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals be a good starting point? does anyone even care about these certs? thanks!!
I have 10 years of experience. Mostly in Unix, C++ and Visual C++ and MS SQL. I developed interest in cloud computing as like many others and was able to clear AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect Associate and Professional, AWS Security. Along with these I was able to clear 8 Azure certifications as well: 3 fundamentals, Azure Security, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps and Azure Architect. Now my main question, can I try to switch on Cloud Architect or some other similar cloud roles?
AWS Cloud Practitioner or Salesforce Community Cloud Consultant? Which one would you get and why?
@Capco professionals or others who have heard of them, Have an offer with big 4 risk and am interviewing with capco in for the ATP generalist program. (NYC) Entry level for both. I don’t want to burn my bridges, but my dream agency contacted me after being at my new job for a month! I’m all for sticking it out, but this other opportunity allows for more creativity, closer to home, and most likely better pay. Anybody ever been in this position, and what did you do?
Have you ever run into a situation where you asked for more money (either a raise or when negotiating an offer) and you got it and regretted it? What are the strings attached to more $?
Is it just me, or is the big 4 sales culture low energy? I get the RFP process is painful, having done it in other industries myself, but the way I've seen most people sell in these firms seems mediocre for the amount of support that gets thrown at these opportunities. Maybe it's the ex-finance consultant in me, but the approaches I've seen in my 5 year tenure so far have me thinking this isn't catering to my strengths and won't be the best move to stick it out to SM/PPMD.
What's the designation & ctc budget of paytm for lateral hiring for 8.2 years experience (java skillset)?
Currently contributing 18% to savings (8% 401k and 10% to savings account) and also paying $2250/month for grad school. I have a healthy savings balance and am not expecting and need to use it anytime soon. Is is ok to cut back on what I put into my savings account while I’m in school? Feeling stretched thin and have always had the impression it’s bad to not be contributing to savings regularly. Thinking if I’m paying for school it’s ok to be less aggressive with savings. Looking for input.
Is the CVA or ABV valued by big 4 at all?
In case you never got to see the New York Times article about air quality in classrooms, I’m posting it here for you. It makes some very important points about creating the safest possible environment for students and teachers. 1. Open windows if it all possible 2. Place air purifier centrally 3. Don’t place fans in a way where the air is pointed at people Have a great year and keep yourself and your students safe! https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/02/26/science/reopen-schools-safety-ventilation.html

Would love tips on successful breast feeding! I'm pregnant with #2 and want to try again. With my first I had issues with latching, clogged ducts and supply. We switched exclusively to formula at 2mo.
Does anyone here struggle with balancing work and attending to children at home as a single mother. I work from home in a very demanding job as a manager and I feel horrible that I have to sacrifice time with my children to work. I want to be successful at work and climb the corporate ladder, but at the same time my children don’t get the attention they need, especially my 6 year old that can barley read.
I am starting to question my existence in this world. I have a nice job, decent salary, i work out and eat healthy, maintain my health, read 3 to 4 books every month, dont have any personal commitments (single), in my early 30s and things cant be any better. Of course with the exception that i had a real bad break-up with my fiancé 6 months ago. And i dont have any symptoms of depression, but there are days when i just feel like what is all this for?
My firm is virtual - all work done remotely in home office unless on client site. Haven’t traveled since mid October. It’s driving me nuts. What do you recommend doing?
I was offered a position at Deloitte for ~26k more than I’m making currently, but they told me that in 2.5 years when the contract is over I will be out of a job. Obviously I’ll be able to network within those two years and probably find something more permanent, so it’s very similar to gig work at BAH. I also just started a new project at BAH last month so I feel uneasy leaving after a month. Can someone at Deloitte give me more insight about PDM work at the company?
Who develops video games and is willing to share their experience with a 8 year old? My son has a "passion" project as part of his schooling. He has chosen to create a video game and expressed interest in talking to someone who does it now. I'm a HUGE fan bc video games have helped him navigate ADHD, learn about frustration and rewards, and connect with other kids IRL 🎉🎉. I can't imagine it will last more than 30 minutes and would be deeply grateful. We are on MDT.
Any funds associates ever look into working for an offshore firm? Pay is a little lower than in major US markets but it's a tax free jurisdiction. Curious if anyone knows what senior associate/partner comp at a Walkers, Maples or Conyers is like.
