You can ask ChatGPT to create a standard schedule, but I learned that your photographer drives a lot of it (how long they need for the photos you’d like), and your makeup/hair stylists (how long they need to get everyone done). So a standard schedule is a good place to start, but by talking to extra vendors, you’ll be able to have a better idea.
That's a good starting point. Thanks for your response! I tried using Chat GPT and it actually gave me a solid plan. Taking it to other vendors is a good idea.
Just do an excell doc in 10 or 15 min increments. Start with your ceremony time. Back up 45 min to an hour. This is when you want to be tucked away. Ask photographer his/her time line. Typical 1 hr pre ceremony getting ready etc photo, 15 for detail shots.. dress, rings, invites etc. maybe another 15 if you are doing a first look. That is your everyone be ready by time. If you are having hair and makeup on site, ask them start time for everyone to be ready by that time. Add 15 to 20 minute cushion. If you are getting ready somewhere different from where the ceremony is factor in travel ( not just driving time but also getting in and out of cars.)
Allocate about 1. to 1.5 hrs between ceremony end grand entrance. ( consider travel time if reception is in different location) you need time to clear the area and post ceremony pictures. Depending on size of wedding party, families and what pictures you want this will be 30 to 50 min. If doing first look many of your couples shots can be pre ceremony. So what pictures when and where are big drivers of your timeline.
Most venues require a day of coordinator. They will keep everyone on schedule. This should not be you.
If you have a band or DJ, they should have a good idea of what grand entrance to exit looks like.
I am not using a full planner. but a good coordinator should be a resource. A knowledgeable expert who can tell you where you can cut costs, how things typically run, vendors they know. And keep things running smoothly day of. They are the ones with a sewing kit for a fallen hem, making sure your vendors showed.
Good luck!
So will you when you are 4 weeks out from WDay! Lol

Never dreamed of needing a wedding planner. It was all worked out with venue and photographer. 🤷♀️
You make it sound so simple, I love it. I hope it does turn out to be just as easy as you laid it out
Honestly this is not a bad idea. I will be honest I have never really used AI for anything but i keep reading in these groups about how people are utilizing it and I feel like I could defintely use it to do my wedding day schedule.
