Probs a silly question but has anyone gotten a salary adjustment due to inflation? I got my offer letter in Dec 2021 and started with the firm a couple months ago, so I’m not eligible for a promotion or VC yet, but obviously inflation has skyrocketed since I accepted the offer. I’m not sure if there’s anything I can do but wanted to ask in case anyone has experience with this. (Mostly asking because of an impending rent increase 😅)

How much $ would you need to start your own small consulting firm? Father in law is suggesting I do it and offering to fund it. Pros and cons of owning your own firm? I’m 36 yo currently at the Principal/Director/MD level depending on the firm.

I’m so tired of US companies hiring remote Canadian employees offering to pay a fraction of the price for the same role.

Hi fishes good morning. I joined CapG on 26th may 2021 as a Associate consultant.  Till this date i got appraisal as well as promotion also.
But this is not sufficient  for a 5 year experience Data Engineer. So i resigned on 12 th june 2022. My current CTC is 9 lpa and i asked them 15lpa for retain. Everything is fine from my Capgemini manager and client manager. Only i am expecting HR Call and that will happen next week as my manager said. Any suggestion what will be next CTC ? Thanks All
