*Also is it safe to join service based company with such a high package in respect to my YOE?

Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

They give hike only on leap years
I joined PS in Dec and was offered in Nov.
I was given the same verbal confirmation and if I join early they’ll increase it more.
And they stood by it, atleast for me.
Was offered 21 fixed and was given verbal communication to increase it to 22-22.5 if I bring any counter offer. But a weak before joining they sent me 23 fixed updates OL. So it worked for me. Thankful to the HR for keeping his word.
PS- I got early release and joined PS on an earlier date.
I think they are following this practice to make sure people don’t use their offer to get a better package which they can’t match.
So if you are at 10 and are worth 25. They will give you 18-20 now and will revise to 25 on the last moment or when you have counter offer.
If you give you 25 now, you will get a counter offer 30 which they won’t be able to match.
No until and unless something is in writing don't believe it.
The recruiter and HR will become mister india once you join this organisation..
And don't join this org.
You can use this offer as a tool to negotiate with other companies.
Buddy...you are in corporate now....written things can be discarded and you are asking to believe on verbal commitments...the one giving commitments will leave the organization and whom you would hold responsible...
Hi, They are telling same thing to me. HR said she will give me revised offer 1 week before joining. Till then she will only give this initial offer.
Pls suggest guys how to get the revised offer now.
I was planning to join publicis but this has raised concerns. This doesn't feel like a good practice.
Hey, What’s the percentage they are offering to you initially on papers?
when I tried to negotiate with 90 days notice period they told we can negotiate at the time of joining but still gave me a decent offer. I got few more offers and told them about it around 10 days remaining in LWD they gave me 50% hike on initial offer.
i believe they would do same for you but you need to run around and get better offers to show them you have options if they don't give hike.
how did you negotiate 90-day notice period. Can you please help me with the same
