This new PTO policy is so bogus. I have a newly promoted senior that is still a staff on my large job and just told me they requested a week off during fieldwork, even though they have been unassigned for multiple weeks here and there all summer. They told me they were waiting until August so that they wouldn’t have to use their accrued time so they can bank it. Lowe's - 12L fixed plus 10% variable.
Role- senior demand planner.

So I have been made an offer by a company I like but it’s pretty similar to my current package (I also like where I am). The recruiter is pretty intense and is pitting me against another candidate but says I’m the number one choice and is asking me for a number to say yes “but not too high or the team will look at the other candidate”
