Once you have your start date and put in your two weeks, bring it up to your RL and HR that you’d rather move internally.
If you’re a high performer, they’ll make it happen
^this is what I did at my firm
Get the offer, tell pwc you want to transfer to fdd, if they give you a real transfer date then stay. If they don't then move
I concur
If your medium term plan is to do FDD then personally would get the promo to S1 assurance at PwC but start trying to transfer internally. PwC pays the best of all the big 4 / national firms (excluding A&M) so think you’ll come out ahead. You could also go to RSM and then try and go from MM TAS to B4 TAS as most firms would likely hire you with TAS experience over an internal audit transfer. All depends on how quickly you can move. Was in same place as you in summer and expressed interest in transferring to FDD and was told minimum of 10 months bc I’d need to do another busy season. Magically after I got an offer from another firm for FDD I could start the next week but left anyways.
I’d hold off on RSM if you are able
I’d rather be at pwc. RSM ain’t it.
