I’d say 109k
OP u should look at the PAS group at EY. im not at EY but that’s close to what you’re doing!
OP, I have a friend who does pretty similar work to what you’re doing and would like to continue doing. EY’s PMO group is hiring and looking for people
EY1 - (So happy to see a brown hand emoji 😊👋🏽)
That's exactly what just happened though. Recruiter said the role may not be exactly what I'm looking for based on my skill set and that she would refer me to her colleague who was recruiting for something more closely aligned with my experience.
Also, told her I was looking for 110k and she said that fell in the right range for both her and her colleague's roles. Hopefully it all works out.
Glad to hear it worked out in a positive direction!
SC1/EY1 - Not sure if you all would still get a notification for this post, but took your advice and applied for the PMO group at EY. Had final round interview on Friday and got positive feedback today. Recruiter said she should be getting back to me with a verbal offer on Friday (fingers crossed) 😊
So, thanks for your advice! Didn't even know that group existed at EY until you both told me to look into it.
What do you do at Accenture, OP?
EY1 - Project management and process improvement
Risk Assurance afaik would involve IT audit, is that something you’re interested in?
To answer your question, I think mid 90s to low six figures should be in the ballpark of what you could expect as an experienced hire. Obviously as I’m not from PwC, I’ll let 🐠 from PwC also respond to give you a better idea.
EY1 - ehh I'd prefer to focus on project management if that were an option. Right now I'm doing process improvement for a client's PMO as well as managing projects for them which is almost exactly what I want to be doing. I just want to get out of Accenture at this point.
EY1 - NEED to get out of Accenture*
You don’t want to move into risk assurance...
EY2 - 😩😩😩 I'll go ahead and bomb this interview then lol
What kind of practices would you recommend? Not firm specific. Couldn't find anything related to what I wanted at EY
EY1 - Will look into it! Thank you ☺
👍🏽 I don’t think you need to bomb your PwC interview either, just express to the recruiter that Risk Assurance doesn’t seem like a good fit unless they’re looking at you for some non IT audit work (I highly doubt it). I’m sure PwC will have some sort of roles that align with your interest. Just ask to be connected with recruiter in that group. All the best!
woo! that’s awesome! how many years of exp do you have? maybe i should make the jump too...
SC1 - 5 in total. 2+ in project management.
