Pwc has a deal team, Deals Strategy is a part of it, as well as Private Equity Value Creation. However, both of those teams are also aligned / branded to Strategy& from a recruiting, compensation, and promotion perspective
A director in deals strategy is expected to sell. A senior manager should start demonstrating sales experience, but, ultimately, should be able to run a commercial due diligence by themselves (with a team of staff of course).
Deals strategy is in Strategy&. Pay is similar for both the manager and director levels ($220k-$250k base for both roles). But bonus is up to 54% for SM and up to almost 70% for directors (I believe).
Most people on here are right except S&1, Deals Strategy is not the DDV of S&, the Deals platform is much more complicated and closer to what M1 said. Deals strategy focuses on pre-deal commercial and market-focused work
Hello - I hope you don't mind me asking a question about this group. There is a position in S& Deals group in Chicago. I am interested in learning more about M&A and Deals Transaction. Would you say that I will get good exposure in this practice? Thanks!
Deals Strategy is aligned to S&
PwC’s equivalent is DDV; pay I believe is same as everyone else in Advisory
Ok it is odd that the recruiter insisted it was not S&. She sent me background materials named PwC Deals Strategy. They are focused on pre-deal work, not much post deal
