PwC Offer Stuck – Need Advice

I was selected for a role that required immediate joining, but I couldn’t join right away.HR moved me to a similar role with a later start date.

Now, they’re saying they can’t release my offer letter because another application is still open in their backend system. But they’re not guiding whether I should withdraw it or anything — just said they’ve “raised their hands.”Has anyone faced this situation before or can any PwC folks suggest what worked?

I am starting a new role with a new company and will have 6 direct reports. Although I have managed teams before in a consulting project setting, this will be the first time in industry. Any recommendations on how to sharpen my management skills (books, blogs, etc). Particularly looking at how to delegate effectively and practical examples on how to run day to day.

I got call back from Capgemini that my expected CTC has been met. HR told "I got approval from my seniors of your expected CTC. I am generating offer letter in the system. You will get the offer letter by today EOD or by Tomorrow" Is he fooling me or I will really get the offer letter? Capgemini

I started a full time in-house design job that pays extremely well. I barely have to work at all. This makes me very confused since I kept hearing stories of people working 60+ hr weeks as designers at ad agencies. I am not complaining, but I have this creeping irrational feeling that I’ll get fired for not working even though there’s nothing for me to do. Should i be making up projects or asking for more work?
