What's the situation now at Qualcomm,gave an interview few months back and got a positive response from technical side and due to hiring freeze profile was on hold , now am waiting for offer letter.

Update: contacted the staff engineer 2 weeks back and he informed to wait for 1-2 months as things are settling down and they are waiting for approval.

Folks who managed to switch jobs in this economy, how did you get the job? Did a recruiter reach out to you ? Or did you go on sending out applications?
