Its not a hotel....its a residence
Ritz, Bulgaria, JW, Autograph ( subjective, high standard deviation), Edition, Renaissance, Marriott.... Courtyard and Springhill if you must. Nothing beyond this point matters ( never stayed at a delta but hear decent things)
Ritz, JW, Edition are far better than Renaissance...
Lol, everybody too good to talk about Courtyard or Towneplace Suites 😜
Stayed in them all besides bulgari. Autograph edition, Ritz, JW, Renaissance, Marriott. Would put JW above Ritz if the service was better. Ritz isn't at top because a lot of the ritz I've stayed at were older and starting to barely show their age
Why is this even a question??? Marriott makes it clear on their website of the rank. Just look at the order logos are displayed
@p1, I guess I thought of Renaissance as roughly equivalent to flagship, but with higher variation (risk)
... Fine, CY, SH, AC, TP, RI, Ff. Haven't stayed at a Moxy (pretty sure they will get dissolved into aloft after SPG integration anyhow) or protea. TP over RI due to old ago of a lot of RIs. Depends on generation
Man TownPlace is like a goddamn TP. I'm in one now and I hate it. The plates in the kitchen are so old doesn't even sit flat. On the bright side, you do get kitchens since they are intended for longer stays so you get to eat healthier.
Delta is like a renaissance / Marriott mid level hotel
I'll put Renaissance best and Fairfield worst in general. Not considering Ritz
*Bulgari... Damn autocorrect
@batman
Renaissance is better than flagship Marriott?
Yes, agree on Ritz that's why i added the comment. Never stayed in JW or Edition so can't comment
@OP , generally I think so. Most of the flagships are older and although well maintained, don't have as much character
No Fairfield?
Yeah, what about the bottom range? Fairfield, Springhill, Residence...
Ritz, JW, Edition, Marriott, Renaissance, etc etc
Springhill is often better than Courtyard but there is a lot of variability.
